L4C@CHLA – A DOSE OF FUNNY Laughter for a Change improvisers perform improv games for patients, their parents, and staff at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

L4C at China Central Television (CCTV) L4C’s Executive Director lectured and led theater games workshops at China Central Television in Beijing with actors, writers, and directors at CCTV’s comedy division.

FIST BUMP! The Anti-Bullying Improv Show Seniors at NOW (New Open World) Academy at Robert F. Kennedy Community Schools create and perform improv sketches to engage middle-schoolers in dialogues about bullying.

COMEDY IN RWANDA in 2007, young actors and filmmakers in Rwanda participated in a program to bring comedy and improv to post-genocide Rwanda.

“The Funny Class” at Pacific Lodge Boys’ Home, 15 to 17 year-old boys receiving treatment for psychological, emotional or behavioral problems used improv and comedy to tell their stories.

“Better Health Through Laughter” L4C’s weekly workshop using comedy and laughter techniques with Veterans in the VA’s Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Center “School for Better Living” program.

KYCC Middle School Improv Jam at Korean Youth & Community Center – a series of eight-week improv intensive to local Koreatown middle school students from culturally diverse backgrounds.

PLAY! (Participatory Learning And You!) High School students and educators play improvisational theater games together, exploring new ways to make learning enjoyable and relevant to their lives. 

“Performing History” L4C’s collaboration on the “Performing History” Project takes history lessons off the page” and on the stage.” 5th graders learn American history performing musicals about seminal historical events.
